Block Rain is a falling-block arcade game for Android. It has no ads, no in-app purchases, no accounts and no permissions. It is currently in closed testing on Google Play and needs a group of testers before it can be released publicly.
This document explains what the game is, how it is built, how the testing programme works and what is planned next. It is a product document. There is no token, no presale and no investment offer here.
Casual puzzle games are the most played category on mobile and the most hostile to the player. A typical free block game shows a video ad every two rounds, sells lives, requests contacts and location, and weighs over a hundred megabytes.
Block Rain is the opposite bet: one screen, instant start, nothing asked of the player. The whole product fits in a fraction of that size and works offline.
| Field | 10 columns × 20 rows |
|---|---|
| Pieces | Seven tetromino shapes, random order |
| Controls | Tap to rotate, swipe to move, swipe down to drop; on-screen buttons as an alternative |
| Ghost piece | Landing preview, toggleable |
| Next piece | Always visible |
| Scoring | 40 / 100 / 300 / 1200 points per 1–4 lines, multiplied by level |
| Difficulty | Level up every 10 lines; drop interval shortens each level |
| Session | Designed around two-minute sessions |
The ghost piece is on by default. Research on block-game players shows it helps newcomers aim and costs experienced players nothing, so it stays visible with an option to switch it off.
The engine is deliberately dependency-free. Nothing is loaded at runtime from third parties, which is what allows the game to work with no network connection.
Google requires a new developer to run a closed test with a group of testers opted in continuously for fourteen days before an application can be promoted to public release. Block Rain is in that stage now.
Testers who complete the programme receive 5 USDT or USDC, paid on the fifteenth day to the wallet and network they choose. The network fee is covered by the developer.
The reward is a thank-you for time spent, not a return on anything. It is paid for playing, not for installing: activity is verified against leaderboard records, and accounts that install and never open the game are not eligible, nor are emulators or duplicate accounts.
| Now | Closed testing, fourteen-day requirement |
|---|---|
| Next | Public release on Google Play |
| Then | Global leaderboard in-game, sound, haptics |
| Later | Daily challenge mode with a fixed piece sequence |
| Considering | Head-to-head mode; iOS build |
Everything after public release depends on whether people actually play. Retention decides the order, not this document.
